Colm has received an incredible response to his latest painting of the famous - and challenging - 13th hole on The Glen golf course in North Berwick.The Sea Hole is flanked by beaches and rocks, and has a stunning background with the Bass Rock. As always, Colm's craftsmanship with colour leads you into the painting.
The painting was, aptly, on show for the first time in North Berwick at the weekend at the Artisans Fair in Abbey Church. Colm will be back there with a stand for the next North Berwick Artisans Fair on 16 September.

Great solo show opener

Thank you to everyone who made the opening evening of Colm's Annual Autumn Solo Exhibition in Edinburgh rock. Lovely to see so many supporters of Colm's work and to add new faces to the throng.Lots of red dots against Colm's artworks and lots of orders for his images on glass worktop savers and other items.
Whitespace 25 is behind the roadworks and temporary traffic lights on Howe Street until Sunday 23 October and is open daily from 10am - 6pm (Sundays 11 noon - 4pm). Pop in and we'll get the kettle on or the wine glasses out!

Colm is busy putting the finishing touches on a new suite of paintings ahead of the opening of his autumn solo exhibition on Saturday 24 October at Whitespace on Howe Street.The popular Scottish painter is renowned for his vibrant colours, which subconsciously lead you into a painting without you knowing quite how. His popularity during the Edinburgh Festival's West End Craft Fair meant that he had to return to the studio to satisfy demand.
Colm O'Brien Art at Whitespace will be open from:
Sat 24 October - Sun 1 November
Daily from10am - 6pm except Sundays 12 noon - 4pm

West End Craft Fair, Edinburgh

Join us in the Orchard!For two weeks only, Colm O'Brien Art makes a return to the famous Edinburgh West End Craft Fair from Monday 17th to Sunday 30th August.
This feature of the Edinburgh Festival is located at the west end of Princes Street by St John's Church and opposite the Waldorf Caledonian Hotel.
Our stand is in the Orchard area, the first opening as you enter the craft fair, and we are in a prime location second on the right. You can't miss Colm's distinctive paintings and their vibrant colours.
If you are coming to Edinburgh then do come along and say hello.
