Another painting sold at Pitlochry Festival Theatre and one pending shipment

18/09/2017
Colm's 'Edinburgh Icons' quite simply flew off the wall of the Pitlochry Festival Theatre's 2017 Autumn Exhibition soon after it opened. Depicting some of Edinburgh's most famous landmarks, it's distinctive style is instantly recognisable as the work of 'COB', his signature.

It was closely followed by Purple Dusk, Princes Street (The Balmoral's Purple Cloak) which is an equally distinctive O'Brien artwork with its rich, bold colours reflecting one of Edinburgh's most famous streets. Spotted by a German tourist, the painting struck a chord and when back home he made contact and the painting is now awaiting shipment to Frankfurt.
